Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan, July 31st, 2008 - Sunplus Technology Co., Ltd. (TAIEX: 2401, LSE: SUPD) today announced its financial results of 1st half in 2008. The sales from January to June in 2008 totaled NT$3,433million with 37.5% gross margin while the sales in 2Q'08 totaled NT$1,781 million with 38.5% gross margin. The net profit from January to June in 2008 was NT$78 million, and the earning per share was NT$0.14 based on the outstanding 556,929,954 shares on June 30th, 2008.
