| Sunplus Monthly Sales Report - March 2010 |

| Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan, April 08, 2010 - Sunplus Technology Co., Ltd. ("Sunplus" or "the Company") (TAIEX: 2401, LSE: SUPD) today announced that monthly net sales for March 2010 totaled NT$643 million, an increase of 56.79% compared to last month and 40.56% compared to the same month in 2009. The sales of Multimedia ICs for March 2010 was NT$635 million, which increased 56.80% compared to last month and 43.09% compared to the same month in 2009.
Net sales for January through March 2010 totaled NT$1,665 million, an increase of 79.21% compared to the same period in 2009.
