| Sunplus Monthly Sales Report - April 2010 |

| Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan, May 07, 2010 - Sunplus Technology Co., Ltd. ("Sunplus" or "the Company") (TAIEX: 2401, LSE: SUPD) today announced that monthly net sales for April 2010 totaled NT$642 million, a decrease of 0.2% compared to last month and an increase of 13.97% compared to the same month in 2009. The sales of Multimedia ICs for April 2010 was NT$634 million, which decreased 0.23% compared to last month and increased 20.49% compared to the same month in 2009.
Net sales for January through April 2010 totaled NT$2,307 million, an increase of 54.58% compared to the same period in 2009.
