– Sunplus
Technology Co., Ltd. (TAIEX: 2401, LSE: SUPD) today announced its financial
results of 4th quarter in 2007. The sales from January to December in
2007 totaled NT$9,214 million, which declined 46% comparing with the same period
in 2006 due to the spin-off last year. The gross margin was improved to 42.5%
while gross margin in the same period last year was 33.5%. The net profit from
January to December in 2007 was NT$2,062 million, and the earning per
share was NT$3.7 based on the outstanding 556,750,438 shares on December
31st, 2007.
The net sales of
4Q'07 was NT$2,076 million, which grew 0.04% comparing with 3Q'07. The gross
margin in 4Q'07 was 38%. The net profit in 4Q'07 was NT$169 million and the
earning per share in 4Q'07 was NT$0.3 based on the outstanding 556,750,438
shares on December 31st, 2007.
