Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan, October 29th, 2008 - Sunplus Technology Co., Ltd. (TAIEX: 2401, LSE: SUPD) today announced its financial results of 3rd Quarter in 2008. The sales from January to September in 2008 totaled NT$4,967 million with 40.4% gross margin while the sales in 3Q'08 totaled NT$1,534 million with 46.9% gross margin. The net profit from January to September in 2008 was NT$257 million, and the earning per share was NT$0.43 based on the outstanding 598,202,831 shares on September 30th, 2008.
