| Sunplus Monthly Sales Report - November 2009 |

| Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan, December 07, 2009 - Sunplus Technology Co., Ltd. ("Sunplus" or "the Company") (TAIEX: 2401, LSE: SUPD) today announced that monthly net sales for November 2009 totaled NT$825 million, a decrease of 9.45% compared to last month and an increase of 152.78% compared to the same month in 2008. The sales of multimedia IC for November 2009 was NT$814 million which decreased 9.39% compared to last month and increased 166.83% compared to the same month in 2008.
Net sales for January through November 2009 totaled NT$6,642 million, an increase of 13.78% compared to the same period in 2008.
